Night Light Installation & USB Charging

Before you mount the base
Choose a suitable clean, dry surface near the spot where you want light. If you plan to use AUTO mode, consider the path people walk and how dark the area becomes at night. Position the sensor where nearby movement can reach it, rather than behind furniture or objects.
Check that the surface is compatible with an adhesive mount. Follow the supplied instructions for preparing the surface, applying the base and allowing the adhesive to settle. The mounting point should support the light securely before you rely on it.
Attach the magnetic base
- Select the position and prepare the surface according to the supplied instructions.
- Apply the adhesive magnetic base and press firmly as directed.
- Allow the adhesive to settle for the time specified in the supplied instructions.
- Place the light onto the base and check that it is securely seated.
The magnetic connection lets you lift the light away while leaving the base in place. Hold the light when removing or returning it, and check the connection before letting go.
Choose AUTO, ON or OFF
- AUTO: activates in response to nearby movement in low light. The listed sensing distance is up to 4 metres. The light turns back down around 15 seconds after motion stops.
- ON: provides a steady glow while you need continuous light.
- OFF: switches the light off when it is not needed.
If AUTO does not activate during a daytime check, test again in low light. Confirm that AUTO is selected, the battery is charged and the sensor has a clear view of movement nearby. You can also try ON to check that the light itself works.
Recharge the light by USB
The product listing specifies a built-in 500 mAh battery and a 5 V, 1 A supply. Use the included USB charging cable and a compatible supply, following the instructions supplied with the light. Lift the light from its base when needed to access the charging connection.
Battery life depends on the selected mode and how often the light is used. Continuous ON use is listed at approximately 6 hours; AUTO use varies with the number and duration of activations. Recharge when the light needs a top-up rather than relying on a fixed calendar interval.
