Magnetic Motion Sensor Night Light Guide
A magnetic motion sensor night light gives you a warm pool of light where you need it, without a power cable during use. How does the motion sensor work?
In AUTO mode, the light responds to movement in low light. The listed sensing distance is up to 4 metres, so placement matters: position it near the route you walk rather than expecting it to light an entire room. Around 15 seconds after motion stops, the light settles back down.

Where can you use a rechargeable night light?
- Hallway: place it along your usual walking route so nearby movement can activate AUTO mode after dark.
- Bedside: keep a small light close by for getting up at night. Lift it from its base when you need to carry it.
- Shelf or quiet corner: use ON for a steady warm glow while you are nearby, then switch it off when finished.
The LED uses 1 W of power and has a listed colour temperature of 2700–3000 K. This is warm white light for nearby illumination. Consider it a small companion light when planning your space, rather than a substitute for the room's main lighting.
Magnetic mounting and portable use
The adhesive base stays in its chosen spot while the light can lift away. That means you can keep a regular mounting point and take the light with you when needed. Choose a suitable clean, dry surface and follow the supplied installation instructions. The rechargeable design avoids the need for a wall socket during use.
Which finish and pack should you choose?
Ash is the lighter wood-grain look; Walnut is the darker option. These names describe finishes, not solid wood construction.
