Ash or Walnut: what is the difference?
Ash is the lighter wood-grain finish. It is a useful starting point if you prefer a pale look alongside light furniture or shelving. Walnut is the darker wood-grain finish, suited to a richer colour palette.
Both finishes provide the same warm white light and magnetic, rechargeable functionality. The finish names describe appearance: the product listing specifies a plastic housing with an acrylic diffuser, rather than solid Ash or Walnut wood. Choose by colour preference and the position where you plan to use it.
Single lights and same-finish multi-packs
A single light lets you try one location, such as a bedside or hallway. If you want a consistent finish in several spots, choose an Ash or Walnut pack of 2, 3 or 4 lights. Before choosing a larger pack, count the separate mounting positions you actually want to cover.
- 1 light: one chosen spot, with the option to lift the light away and carry it.
- 2 lights: two separate mounting positions in the same finish.
- 3 or 4 lights: several locations with a consistent look.
What is included in each mixed bundle?
Mixed bundles combine both finishes so you can choose a lighter look in one area and a darker one in another. The listed combinations are:

- 3 Ash + 1 Walnut — 4 lights in total.
- 1 Ash + 3 Walnut — 4 lights in total.
- 2 Ash + 2 Walnut — 4 lights in total.
